Politics: Barbara McQuade

One of the most important discussions happening across the country right now is how to protect our democracy from the dangers posed by authoritarian threats. Barbara McQuade is a leading voice in that conversation, and she is currently on tour with her book, The Fix: Saving America from the Corruption of a Mob-Style Government.

McQuade served as the first female U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan from 2010 to 2017. Now, she is a professor at Michigan Law School and a legal analyst for MSNBC. She is the author of two books: The Fix: Saving America from the Corruption of a Mob-Style Government and Attack From Within: How Disinformation is Sabotaging America. It was wonderful hearing Barbara’s insight about how to stay politically involved and how to combat rampant disinformation.

In this episode, McQuade offers several resources for people looking to get involved. You can check out their websites below!
